We’ve been working hard behind the scenes with local PR agency Commshake Media + Engagement to establish a new brand, website and video series.
Our goal for the new brand was to represent our identity at Murray Bridge Lutheran Villages – a welcoming and inclusive community of residents who live a positive and connected lifestyle near the river, in homes which they can make as unique as their own tastes.
The refreshed logo provides consistency and connection across the three pillars of our brand, the overarching brand – Murray Bridge Lutheran Villages and the two sites which it occupies (Swanport Village and Murray Heights Village), while also giving each their own ‘feel’ to reflect their own unique environment and offering.
Our logo concepts were based on the location of each facility; Murray Bridge being a riverside town; the different lifestyle features offered at each facility; and a snapshot of the Lutheran values. We have established a colour palette using shades of maroon and blue and have applied this across all logo variations.
Our village residents enjoyed taking part in a photo shoot on a very foggy day in late July and helped us capture some images of their homes as well as social interactions within our Village Centres. The management team and residents went above and beyond to put on an array of activities for our residents to take part in on the day and the results were some wonderful new images that reflect the warm and welcoming environment of our villages.
The new logo and images from the photo shoot were used to create new print marketing material including a prospectus booklet, promotional postcard to advertise the villages and a presentation folder to keep all the printed material together for our prospective residents.
Swanport residents Margaret and Norm and Murray Heights residents, Greta and Dawn and Liz and Maurice kindly let us interview them on camera about their experience living with us and what they enjoy about the lifestyle, location and quality housing.
The interviews and footage taken during our photo shoot were compiled into a video promoting the village life at Murray Bridge Lutheran Villages and is featured throughout our new website.
